Haven't written in a while. There is nothing much going on, but the same old, same old.

We have begun our Bible Study called "The Vision of His Glory" which is the follow up of the Ann Graham Lotz revival called "Just Give Me Jesus".

I am really enjoying this study, although this is the first week that I have had so much trouble getting a meaning out of the Scripture. I understand symbolically what is going on, but I don't see a message for me. A Revelation it is not. At least not to me. Still, I enjoy reading the Bible and this study has helped me find a way to study the Bible with my kids that is making a difference already.

We are reading the Scripture, discussing what it means, what it means to each of them and I get them to tell me a specific way they intend to apply the passage to their life today. Getting them to put it into words and praying for God's guidance to enable them to carry out their application has helped them personalize the Scriptures in a way we never have done together. I have been writing down what they say and when we have a problem during the day, we look back at what we talked and prayed about and start again. We have only done this for 3 days and God is blessing us immensely.
