My f-i-l passed away Monday, Feb. 2. It was his and Betty's 49th Wedding Anniversary. He has been ill for a long time, but it is still hard to say goodbye. He was a good man. He was a good father in law. I have a lot of good memories of him. I was afraid of him when James and I were first married. lol He seemed very stern and no nonsense, but as I got to know him, I discovered his sense of humor and his kindness.

We will miss him, but we know where he is and know that we will see him again in heaven. He loved the Lord. I can remember him and Betty sitting in the living room reading their Sunday School lesson together. I always thought that was so neat.
